My day at the Pyramids

One day ago we went to the amazing Pyramids and saw lots of extraordinary things.I'll tell you all about it.Well when we first got out of the taxi everyone was either asking us to ride in there horse and cart or to give them baksheesh which is a meaning of tips in Arabic. Anyway when we finally got out of all the fuss we went to the Pyramid named Cheops which is were king Cheops was buried.Oh sorry I forgot to tell you what a pyramid was. A pyramid is built to be a tomb or a grave house and to protect the body of a King or Queen. It has four triangular sides that meet at a point. Pyramids were made from huge blocks of stone that weigh about the weight of 2 modern cars. The largest surviving pyramid is the Great Pyramid of Cheops that covers an area of thirteen acres and is made up of two and a quarter million blocks (that's alot of weight). Well back to my story. When we got in to the pyramid of Cheops It was a little bit hot but when we got in further in It Was Boiling! and guess what we find at the end, An empty tomb.We came all the way for just an empty tomb.I touched the tomb thinking I would get the mummies curse, which is: "Death shall come on swift wings to him that toucheth the tomb of Pharaoh" but I don't believe this curse because I touched the tomb and I stayed the same. When we finally got out of the tomb,we saw the pyramids of his 2 sons that I don't know the names of. After a bit of looking around we went to this museum like thing were we saw an amazing boat that the pharaohs used to sail in when they wanted to go to places in the afterlife. At about 4:00 pm we had to go because it closed at 4:30, dam it we had to go.
